  1. 1. When will my child practice and play games?

    A:
    Practices will be twice a week from Monday through Saturday. Once games start a team will play two games from Monday through Saturday with a coach's optional practice during this time.


  2. 2. My son/daughter has another event during the week and will not be able to practice/play on a certain day. What should I do?

    A:
    During online registration and regular registration there is a question that states special request. State here which day your child can not practice or play. PSA will make every attempt to accommodate your request during the practices. As we get into games it will become a little more difficult to accommodate everyone but we will try our best as a league.


  3. 3. During online registration will I have to pay right away?

    A:
    For online registration you will be asked at the end for your credit card information and you will have to pay for registration then.


  4. 4. Is there a transaction fee for online registration?

    A:
    Yes, there is a transaction fee for online registration of $6.75. It does not state before you register but will show on your credit card statement.



  5. 5. I was not offered a confirmation after online registration. How do I know it went through?

    A:
    We are trying to fix the issue of no confirmation or receipt, in the mean time if you have a concern sends an email to parkwoodsportsassociation@gmail.com . We will double check the registration and confirm for you that the transaction went through.


  6. 6. Is there another way to register besides online?

    A:
    Yes,
    email parkwoodsportsassociation@gmail.com and we will get a registration form to you.

  7. 7. When and how long will practice last?

    A:
    For each division practices will be different. Practices will start around 5:30 pm and later. The younger players will be the first to practice the older players could start later. Practices will last between one hour and one hour and a half.


  8. 8. What do I need bring for evaluations and what we be evaluated?

    A:
    All you will need for evaluations is a glove, but all equipment is welcome. There will be four stations for evaluations, running, hitting, fielding ground balls, and fielding pop flies. Please don't worry or let the kids worry about evaluations they are here for PSA to ensure teams are fair and even, no other reason.


  9. 9. What should I bring to practice and games?

    A:
    Make sure kids have their gloves and water. All other equipment is provided. If the player wishes to bring their own bat to hit with or other equipment, that is welcome. Metal benches are on all fields but some parents prefer to bring their own chairs. As we get into the season bug spray and sun screen is recommended.
